QuoteNest Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and scope

Mangat App Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides QuoteNest: Invoice Maker for creating, managing, exporting and sharing invoices and quotations. This policy describes information used by QuoteNest and the services associated with its optional features. Our studio's website and other apps may have additional privacy information.

2. Information we process

• Optional Business Owner Account: When you register or sign in using email and password, Firebase Authentication processes your email address, authentication credentials and account identifier (User ID). Related authentication and account-verification data may also be handled by our Cloudflare-based merchant services when those functions are used. You do not need this account to create local invoices.
• Invoices and business records: Business profile details, customer information you enter, line items, invoices, quotations, local payment history, bank-transfer instructions, user-entered payment links, generated PDFs and app preferences are generally stored locally on your device. Signing in does not automatically upload or synchronize all these records to the cloud.
• Location: You may choose to use a location-based country suggestion. If you activate this feature and allow access, QuoteNest requests device location for the country suggestion. Location and reverse-geocoding services provided by your device/platform may process coordinates to determine a country. You can select a country manually instead.
• Support: If you contact us for help, we may receive your name, email address, message, relevant app/device details, and any information you choose to provide.
• Technical/security data: Authentication providers, Cloudflare, and app/platform services may process network addresses, device or request information, security events, diagnostic or operational data as needed for their services.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate the features you request; authenticate and secure optional accounts; provide country/currency suggestions with your permission; create, store and export business documents on your device; investigate support requests; protect our services; and meet legal obligations where necessary.

QuoteNest does not currently use its optional Business Owner Account as an automatic invoice cloud-sync feature. The app is not designed to track your location continuously or in the background for advertising.

4. Service providers and third parties

• Google Firebase Authentication: Optional email-based sign-in, verification and account identity.
• Cloudflare: Merchant-service backend, website hosting, network security and related technical request processing.
• Apple and Google device/platform services: Operating-system functions such as permission requests, location/geocoding, document sharing and relevant app-distribution services.
• Email/support services: Brevo and email infrastructure may process information you send to our support team.
• Payment providers selected by you or your customers: Banks, PayPal, hosted payment sites or similar outside services may process information when someone follows an external payment link or sends a bank transfer. These services operate under their own privacy terms.

We do not sell personal information. Our providers handle data subject to their service terms and applicable legal responsibilities.

5. Invoice sharing and payments

When you choose Send / Share PDF, QuoteNest uses your device's sharing interface. You choose the recipient and the app or service used to share the document. Customer and invoice details contained in a shared PDF are provided to the selected recipient and any sharing service you use; review those services' policies before sharing.

Business owners may include their own bank details, payment instructions, and external HTTPS payment URLs in invoices. These are provided by the business owner. QuoteNest does not currently operate its own direct card-processing checkout, verify incoming bank transfers automatically, or receive the merchant's funds. Always verify receipt of payment with your bank or payment provider before marking an invoice paid.

6. Data retention and security

Locally saved documents and settings generally remain on your device until you change or remove them, restore a backup, or uninstall the app, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior. Optional authentication records may remain with Firebase or associated merchant services until they are deleted or otherwise removed under provider rules and applicable law.

We retain support communications as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, handle security or operational issues and comply with legal obligations. We use HTTPS for supported online communications and take reasonable steps to protect service credentials and account information. No method of storage or transfer is completely risk-free.

7. Your choices, access and deletion

• You may use core local invoicing without creating a Business Owner Account.
• You can decline device location permission or change it in your phone's Settings and select your country manually.
• You control what invoice details and PDFs you share and which external payment providers you use.
• To request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with your optional account or support communications, email support@mangatappstudio.com with “QuoteNest Privacy Request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information when legally required.

Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. Uninstalling QuoteNest may remove local documents; back up anything you wish to keep first.

8. International processing

Google, Cloudflare, Apple, email services and external payment providers may process certain information in other countries. Such processing is subject to their policies and applicable safeguards. Where you choose to send a PDF outside QuoteNest, the recipient and sharing service may be located in another country.

9. Children

QuoteNest is designed for business and invoicing uses, not directed to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our services inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.

10. Updates and contact

We may revise this policy as QuoteNest features, connected services or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top when a revised version is published. App Store privacy disclosures should be reviewed when app functionality or integrated SDKs change.
